Dear No. 15,

Hi, we aren’t super close so I don’t want to come off as disingenuous, but from what I know you from you seem very fun and personable. I know you’re not in Brooklyn right now, but I’d love to get to know you more, whether that be through exploring more of your work (please give me that portfolio link!!) or through FaceTime catch ups!

I saw some of your work briefly on LinkedIn, it looks really professional. I’m not sure where I saw, of if you told me, but I recall you saying you’re continuing your internship from the summer into the fall. That is amazing! Congratulations on securing that gig, must be really awesome if you want to stay for another semester!

I love your curls. Whenever I think of you they’re the first thing that come to mind. They’re so playful. Your curls and your personality remind me a lot of the actress Shirley Temple Black. I’m sure you’ve heard of her, but if not, she was basically Hollywoods darling during the Great Depression. She sang and danced her way to stardom with determination and little blonde ringlets that never stoped bouncing. It’s more than just the hair that reminds me of you, it’s her steadfast commitment to her work as an artist and an individual. You always seem to be pushing forward, making new work, exploring new ideas and that’s a really impressive quality to have.

I hope you know I appreciate you as a friend! I’d love to grow closer and am always open to new conversations, so please don’t hesitate if you ever need anything or want to chat. Also, I hope you keep positing outdoorsy photos form home. I’m trying to fix my nature crave vicariously through your posts!
