Dear No. 06,

Yo, do you know how we met? Because I remember vividly. We were sitting in Pantas’ main commons and you were talking to me about horseback riding. We were there for a bouldering club meeting, and then you showed up again at the Prattler meetings. You’re by far the best thing that came out of my participation in either of those clubs.

Thank you for reaching out about the job opportunity; that made my day. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help, but again thank you for even considering me! You bring an abundance of joy to my life. Your little house parties were so sweet and welcoming! I miss knowing you’re only a few blocks away, it was nice to see a friendly face on the streets, but maybe I’ll still see you at Wegmans.

Our friendship makes me feel more adult, I’m not exactly sure what is to attribute to that feeling, but I like it. I’m still boggled every morning I wake up in NY that I get to live this amazing life, and a friendship like ours solidifies that feeling. Thank you for being you, and I wish you the best of luck with your somewhat-new, adult job! Let’s grab coffee (ooh or pie) in the park sometime!
